The characters are great especially rachel and zack's growth throughout the series with zack's conflict over his past and rachel being constantly questioned who she is. First off, if you're looking for a story about two angsty characters who undergo the typical anime redemption arc, then this show is not for you. Rachel really just sounds like an emo kid and it gets pestering and annoying at one point. Devastatingly and terrifyingly beautiful, the story will stay with you long after the end.
